Balance Sheet and Account Management Controller

Responsibilities:
The
incumbent is responsible for maintaining and monitoring daily GL
balance, to oversee the current existing core-banking systems, involve
in new implementation and also monitoring and maintaining GLOD and BSAM 7
principles. The candidate will monitor GLOD and maintain BSAM 7
principles as well as be a part in new system implementation and
understand the setup and logic of it.
You will monitor the current system works, actively participate in providing the system error solution and involve in new system implementation. It is important to improve existing processes and procedures and find better ways of doing things, in terms of effectiveness (quality, accuracy, reliability)/or efficiency
Requirements:
Sound knowledge of front/back office processes and procedures and accounting practices will be required to take charge in this role. Tertiary qualifications in Accounting will be preferred. Good reconciliation skills, time management skills, analytical skills and problem solving skills will also be required
